Glitchkraft Guest Room at Emerson Contemporary 2019

Back in September last year, Deb Step and I connected with Alison Tanenhaus to create a ‘guest room’ as part of Alison’s exhibition at Emerson Contemporary.

The video above shows off the room layout and some of the monitors with recent video jams. The only ‘new artwork’ I made specific for the room was “Pills” shown below.

The content is from a video of pills floating in water I took about 6 months prior to the exhibit. Shot on iphone. The video is a perfect loop made in After Effects experimenting with a data mosh plugin.
